Mossley progressed to the next round of the FA Trophy after a close fought 2-1 victory at the Project Solar Stadium, against local rivals Hyde United.
The first half was largely uneventful with the game stopping and starting at regular intervals, the only close chance was Liam Tongues free kick which rattled the post of the Mossley goal.
Mossley were ahead 2 minutes into the second half, Keogh flicked on a corner at the near post and Evans couldn’t miss on the goal line and headed home.
The tigers responded and levelled the game five minutes later when Prifti cut inside from the left and fired a low shot which beat the keeper at the near post.
Mossley won the game and ensured they progressed 20 minutes from time as a long ball forward found Pratt, who unleashed a thunderous volley into the bottom corner leaving Green with no chance in the Hyde goal.
