Our former Club captain from the halcyon days of the early 80s, Tony Steenson, has kindly arranged for a Celebrity Charity match at the Project Solar Stadium on Sunday 10th July with a 2pm kick off.

All proceeds will be in aid of the Hyde United Community Fund, which supports our community projects across all age ranges.

The teams will comprise of well-known celebrities from Coronation St, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks, plus the Tigers legendary winger, George Oghani (more names to be confirmed in the next few days) versus a Police/Fire/Ambulance Workers XI

All admission will be via donations on the day and there will be a fundraising raffle for travel vouchers donated by Jet2 holidays.
