Ahead of our FA Trophy game away to Congleton Town this Saturday, we have had this advise from Congleton Town with regards parking at the ground.
“We have very limited parking inside the ground and can only accommodate 2 vehicles. All other parking is street parking. We suggest Booth Street by the cricket ground or the nearest car park (less than 5 minutes walk) is West Street CW12 1JR. If you could convey that to your playing staff and travelling party (including fans) it would be helpful.”

Our away league fixture at Ilkeston Town which was due to take place last Tuesday has now been re-arranged for Tuesday 22nd October with a 7:45PM kick off.

Advance ticket purchase is available online for away supporters to help minimise queues at the club shop and turnstiles and we strongly recommend this route.

Refreshments: Refreshment kiosks, serving hot food and hot & cold beverages will be available once the Turnstiles open; a licenced bar will also be available inside the stadium. The LeaseCar 1881 Lounge will be open to both sets of supporters before and after the game.
Car Parking: There is no car park at the stadium, supporters can park on Haig Avenue and neighbouring streets but we request that supporters are respectful of local residents and not to block driveways.
Supporters Coaches: Any supporters’ coaches can drop off passengers on Haig Avenue, we will then direct the driver where to park.

Following a seven day approach from Wakefield FC we have allowed Akeel Francis to leave the club.
Akeel made his debut, off the subs bench at home to Mickelover, but has struggled for game time since.
We wish Akeel well.

Darrin Enahoro-Marcus has joined Abbey Hey on dual registration.
Manager Nick Spooner said “We think a lot of Darrin but he’s not really played any mens football yet, so with the North West Counties League starting this weekend we feel him joining him Abbey Hey will benefit us as it will get him vital experience.”
Nick Spooner has added defensive reinforcements in Drew Baker
Drew started his youth career in the Academy at Manchester City where he played for ten years from the under-4 to under-14 level, winning the Premier League Championship three times He subsequently spent two years in the youth team at Crewe Alexandra before signing a two-year scholarship at Oldham Athletic]
He dropped down to Non-League when he signed for FC United for the 2021–22 campaign.
In 2022, he signed for Fleetwood Town and has since had spells in Ireland at Bohemians and Waterford and last season at Macclesfield.
Drew impressed in the game against Mossley and has since been offered a deal.
Jake Maltby has been added to the squad before the start of the season.
Maltby came through the ranks at Bradford City and had a productive season at Silsden last season scoring 10 goals from 48 appearances and has impressed on trial in pre-season from defensive midfield.
