2023/24 Season Admission & Season Ticket Prices

The Board met recently to discuss the annual budget for the forthcoming season. Every aspect of the anticipated income and expenditure was discussed, taking into account the increased costs faced over the previous season and into 23/24 year.

Being mindful of contrasting First Team season results over the past couple of seasons, the Board also wished to give the management team a reasonable budget in what is expected to be another very competitive league and hopefully allow us to challenge at the top end of the table again.

We have had to review costs, savings and income and we regret that we have to announce an increase in admission prices and season ticket prices for the coming season. The increase will still be commensurate with the admission costs of ten years ago, plus there will still be substantial savings available on season tickets and Social Club membership.

The new admission prices on the gate will be:

The Season ticket prices will be:

As indicated, the Season ticket prices represent great value for all 21 League matches, plus the additional bonus of 5 scheduled pre-season Home friendlies are also included. Based upon the admission prices, a season ticket will give a holder at least 5 free league games over the season.

Season ticket holders will also be given an opportunity of a Free Social Club discount card, which would normally cost £20, and this will allow discounted prices on alcohol beverages; a great saving over the season.

We understand that some supporters can’t purchase a season ticket, as they can’t attend every home league game during the season, due to thing such as work commitments or not being able to attend midweek evening games. So, previously we haven’t been able to offer them a option to make a saving on admission prices. However, this season we can, by way of the match day bundle that will be available on our online club shop. For the price of 6 games you will get 7 match day tickets, to be used at any home League games throughout the season.

We expect to have season tickets and our new match day bundle on sale from 5th June.

Another player Re-signs

We are delighted to announce that Matt Fearnley has re-signed for the 2023/24 campaign.

Matt linked back up with Nick and Gavin last season, having been under them at Bolton Wanderers, where Nick brought him in from the Man United Youth Setup.

Having spent a number of years playing in the USA, Matt returned to the UK and joined the Tigers. Last season he scored four goals from midfield in 16 appearances.

Two players re-sign

We are pleased to announce that Aaron Fleming and Adam Dawson have agreed to stay for the 2023/24 season.

Aaron came in last season from Abbey Hey and after an injury hit start to the season has become a consistent performer for the Tigers over the season, whether that be at centre back, full back or in midfield.

”Daws” will be going into his second season with the Tigers.  After departing midway through last season for Nantwich, he rejoined the Tigers at the back end of the season where he scored a wonder goal against Marine.

Branagan signs on the dotted line

Nick Spooner has filled the void in the goalkeeping department by bringing in Ritchie Branagan.

Ritchie has previously played at Macclesfield, Chorley and Droylsden before heading off abroad to play in Japan for SRC Hiroshama and Beograd Woodville in Australia.

You can see the full interview with Ritchie here https://youtu.be/wleXd4yd-rg

Nick Spooner signs a contract

We’re delighted to announce manager Nick Spooner has signed a contract for next season, with the option of a further year.

In his first full season at the club, the club finished sixth after challenging for the title for the majority of the season.

Chairman Steve Hartley said ”We’re delighted to have got this commitment with Nick, he’s created a great atmopshere we’ve been impressed by how he has worked over the past season and we can build on that this coming season and we look forward to a successful future”.

Statement on recent player departures

The football club wanted to update supporters around the departure of some of the players this summer.

In football players decide to move on, Liam, Jordan, Tom and Dan were offered competitive deals by the club but have decided to move elsewhere.

We have agreed terms with some players to stay for next season and will be announcing those in due course and Nick Spooner is also working on bringing in players to the football club but it has be the right type of player so we won’t be rushed into making signings.

We appreciate your support and keep the faith
