Hyde United and manager Michael Clegg have agreed to part company by mutual consent.
Clegg joined the Tigers in January with the club precariously close to the relegation zone, and succeeded in keeping the club in the NPL Premier division. However, this season with the Tigers lying 14th in the table, both parties have agreed to part ways.
Chairman Steve Hartley said ”These decisions are never easy, and we will be forever grateful to Michael for keeping us in the division, but having had a chat after Saturday’s game and with the position we are in, we agreed that the club needed to take a different direction. We have parted on good terms, and Michael and his staff will always be welcome at the Project Solar Stadium.”
Assistant Manager Joe Bunney and first team coach, Aaron Wade-Young have also left the club and we thank the for their contributions
