Three in for the Tigers

Nick Spooner has strengthened his squad for the upcoming 2022/23 season by bringing in three players.

Adam Dawson is a winger but can predominantly play on both wings or in the number 10 position, Adam boasts EFL experience and has been most recently at divisional rivals Bamber Bridge and Radcliffe.

Jordan Lazenbury is a forward who has signed from Abbey Hey where he has been a regular goalscorer.  Jordan is no stranger to the Project Solar Stadium having had a brief loan spell, when we were in the National League back in April 2014.

Our final signing is Aaron Fleming, a defender, also signed from Abbey Hey.  Aaron was courted by a number of clubs in the Northern Premier Division for this coming season but has chosen to sign on at the project solar stadium.

Speaking on the new signings Spooner said ‘’Adam is a great signing for us, he gives us options on the right, both on the wing and at wing back and has a great delivery.’’

‘’Jordan brings us more options anywhere across the front three, his pace causes defender’s problems and has a proven record of scoring goals in recent years.’’

‘’Aaron brings us experience and competition for places in defence.  He’s comfortable playing out from the back and defends well in one on one situations.’’
