Hyde United are pleased to announce the signing of forward Jack Redshaw, the 31-year-old moves to the Project Solar Stadium after two seasons with fellow divisional rivals, Ashton United.

Redshaw has scored 83 career goals spanning across 274 games for the likes of Morecambe, Salford City and Halifax. Jack follows in the footsteps of his father Ray who had a spell with the Tigers back in the
1982-83 season when he scored 10 goals in 30 appearances.

Manager Nick Spooner said “We’re really pleased to have Jack on board, he’s an excellent talent with great qualities and will add a further dimension to our squad.”

Redshaw was equally as pleased to have joined the Tigers saying “I’m happy to have joined and can’t wait to get started and prepare for the new season.”
