Last weekend saw us welcome some children from Hellerup IK in Denmark, to Ewen Fields, on a goalkeeping course.

The children have been on a three day trip and have been coached by the UEFA licensed coaches at Rochdale and Hyde

The trip was organised by Crest Sports Management Group and their Director Darren Jack told us “Our agency accommodates for players from Academy level all the way up to first team level, both here and across the globe, and we bring kids over for some intense sessions so they get a feel of what it’s like to be in an academy.”

The children were part of a group led by Brian Hojmark, a goalkeeper coach back in Denmark who praised the facilities at the club, “It’s great facilities here, a great pitch, everyone has been so nice and welcoming and the kids have really enjoyed the sessions”

The team then met the first team management of Dave McGurk and John McCombe and posed for pictures with the first team before being given a signed shirt.
