New Signings

The management team have added 2 new additions to the first team squad as we move into December

One of the signings is another of our academy players that has impressed and been signed to the first team.

The other is on a months loan from Chester FC.

Completed today, Dominic Smalley has signed on a months loan from Chester FC.  He signed a one years contract with Chester at the start of the 2018/19 season having helped Ashton United to their play off promotion success and was named Ashtons Players’ Player of the Season for the 2017/18. Playing in the right back postion he has good speed and loves to get forward.

The second signing was actually signed on Friday last week in time to be named in the squad for Saturdays away game to Warrington. Oladapo Olarewaju (Dapo) is a striker who has impressed not only the Academy coaches but also the first team management. He has been rewarded for his hard work with a call up to the first team.

We welcome them both to the first team and look forward to seeing them in action.
