Pete Boyle has agreed to sign for Glossop NE Playing in the EvoStik Division 1 West

“Pete is a valued member of the first team squad and a product of the Academy at Hyde. He is also working as a member of the coaching staff at the Hyde Academy along side the final year of his degree with The University of Derby.

Pete has found that his opportunities to get valuable pitch time have been limited this season, with Darren bringing in a number of more experienced forwards, and it is important for Pete to get regular first team football at this stage of his career. Glossop are an excellent side, with fantastic facilities, passionate supporters and an experienced manager & coaching staff. The opportunity for Pete to play and develop was too good to turn down, and we wish him a successful time at Glossop NE. He remains and important part of the future at Hyde United FC”

Darren Kelly praised Pete saying “Everyone at the club loves Pete and appreciates the quality he has. He needs regular first team football, at a level where he can continue to develop and grow, with the aim of pushing on to return playing at a higher level. He will do very well at Glossop NE but he will remain one of our own”
