The draw for the second qualifying round of the FA Cup took place today.
The Tigers were in the draw after their 5-0 away win to West Allotment Celtic on Tuesday
The next round will see the Tigers at home to AFC Fylde
To be played on Saturday 3rd October, when we should have been playing Basford in the league.
Tickets for Tuesdays game at home to FC United will made available for purchase from this evening from the Club Shop at the ground.

This Friday, 25th September, our youth team play in the 1st Qualifying Round of the FA Youth Cup at home to Southport, following their 3-1 win over Runcorn in the previous round.

ETickets for the first home game of the season against South Shields are now on general sale and available on our online club shop.
With the first game of the season fast approaching, manager, Dave McGurk, has made 3 additions to the first team squad.
Goalkeeper, Riccardo Longato, a product of the Academy, has rejoined the Tigers for this coming season. Defender, Andy Hollins, who was previously at Colne and Southport before that, has signed on. And forward, Darius Palma, joins from Curzon Ashton.
Comments from the Gaffer
“Andy, or Trialist A as he’s been known has been with us all of pre season. We wanted him in early doors but he was contracted with Colne. He’s got all the attributes to be a big player for us and I’m sure our fans will be happy to see him sign after his performances in pre season.”
“Darius comes in from Curzon and is a player I’ve always liked. He’s quick, direct and will provide us with more options at the top end of the pitch. He’s another one who will excite the fans.”
“Riccardo is a brilliant lad and is going to be a top goalkeeper. His improvement under Chris has been plain to see. Craig may go out on dual registration and Riccardo will provide cover on matchdays.”
This evenings game at home to Curzon Ashton is for The Ray Stanley Shield.
All season ticket holders will be admitted free, a list of names of season ticket holders will be on the gate.

Hyde United enter the FA Cup at the 1st Qualifying round stage scheduled for the Tuesday September 22nd.
The draw is likely to be the Monday after the Preliminary round ties set for Saturday 12th.
We will update the website and Social Media once we know our opponents.
We have today completed the signing of three players.
A goalkeeper and two defensive players, Craig Ellison, Matthew Thompson and Juwon Hamzat. All have featured in the pre-season games.
The manager gave his comments on all three new signings.
Tomo has been excellent in pre season for us and I love his attitude. He’s got a great mentality, is strong in 1v1s and is comfortable on the ball. He’s got experience of this level and he will provide competition at right back. Brad can play centre half as well so with Tomo in we now have that as an option.
Adejuwon is a young centre back / left back and is another player who’s impressed with us. We see him as a player we can help develop and he will push Kyle but we also have in mind that we may go out and play games to aid his development. He has a great future ahead of him if he can keep learning and improving.
Craig will fight it out with Joe for the number 1 spot. He knows Joe has the edge on him at the moment and he wants to come in and provide the healthy competition that we need. He’s great around the place and will benefit from working with Chris Shaw.

Now we have clarification on attendance numbers for our home games, we have made season tickets available.
Attendances at the step we play at, Step 3, are limited to 300 during August and 600 from September onwards (once we have had at least one home game at the 300 attendance limit), until it is reveiewed again in October.
0ur next home friendly isn’t until Friday 4th September, so that game will be limited to the 300, and then all other games will increase to the 600 limit.
We have to give an allocation to any visiting club, which reduces the number of home fans we can allow into any game. Of course that will be less any number of season tickets we have sold.
The purchase of a season ticket will gurantee your place at any of our home games, including any of the remaining friendlies we still have.
Season tickets can now be purchased on the club online shop, https://hydeunited.co.uk/product-category/season-tickets/ , you can select to have your season ticket delivered by post or choose to pick it up from the ground, either at any home game or one of the days we announce that season tickets can be picked up.
