Holmes is where the heart is

Bradley Holmes No team videos, transfer history and stats - SofaScore

Ahead of Saturday’s game with Guiseley, Nick Spooner has made a couple of addition to the squad by bringing in striker Brad Holmes on loan from Championship side Blackpool until January.  The 19-Year-Old scored against the Tigers in the 1-1 pre-season draw here at the Project Solar Stadium.  Holmes has recently completed a loan spell at National League North side AFC Fylde.

Also joining the club is Edy Maieco who joins us from FC United of Manchester, The 25-Year-Old was born in Lisbon and was previously at Macclesfield FC. Edy can play in any of the forward positions and we look forward to seeing him on the pitch at the Project Solar Stadium.

Both are forward options and will bolster a Tigers attack following the departure of Harry Pratt to Warrington Rylands.  We thank Harry for his service to the club and wish him well in the future.

Daly Welcome

Luke Daly - South Shields FC

Ahead of tonight’s trip to Warrington Rylands, (7:45PM), The Tigers have signed midfielder Luke Daly.  Daly who started his career at Burnley before some impressive performances for Droylsden earned him a move to South Shields where an injury hit time restricted him to just 21 appearances.  From there he joined Curzon Ashton before spells at Matlock and Bamber Bridge.

Manager Nick Spooner said that ”Luke is a gifted footballer and he gives us another good option in our midfield”

Warrington Rylands game and new signing

Following the FA’s statement about football resuming from today we can confirm our league match at Warrington Rylands will go ahead on Tuesday evening with a 7:45pm Kick Off.

Ahead of that game Nick Spooner has brought in forward Qasim Khan who has signed on dual registration from Combined Counties League Premier Division North side North Greenford.

Amaar signs on

Nick Spooner has added a couple of additions to his squad for the FA Cup
trip to Warrington Rylands.

Amaar Hussain joins from National League side Altrincham on a dual
registration.  Amaar said ” I’m an attacking winger who likes to cut
inside or I can play in the number 10 and look to make assists and score
goals”

Amaar made his mark in the National League and North-West Youth Alliance
squads in his debut season at the club and has proved himself a real
handful for defenders, as illustrated by a return of 37 goals last
season from an attacking position on the left of midfield.

Also stepping up from the Under 21’s into the senior squad is Tawab
Djankpata, Tawab is 22 and was born in Togo but can also represent Italy
and has impressed enough to have caught the eye of Nick Spooner.

Both will go into today’s squad to face Warrington Rylands.

One playing leaving the club is Jordan Lazenbury who has signed for
North West Counties side Daisy Hill. We thank Jordan for his efforts and
wish him well in his future endeavours.
