Following Saturday’s victory over Warrington Town, the draw for the First Round Proper of the Isuzu FA Trophy has taken place and we will face either Silsden or Stocksbridge Park Steels on Saturday 25th October.
This means the trip to Prescot in the league will be re-arranged.
Martin Coyne’s first interview as permanent head coach
The board of Hyde United are delighted to announce Martin Coyne as the new permanent first team manager, he will be assisted by Harry Bunn and Chris Shaw, Martin has been in interim charge since the departure of Nick Spooner.
Chairman Steve Hartley said on the appointment, ”The board have been impressed with the response of the team and the fans in the interim period where we have progressed through two rounds of the FA Cup, losing only one league match and keeping three clean sheets.
We wish them every success and are sure the supporters will give their support as always”
The Board will be making a further announcement regarding the First Team Manager position in the next few days, allowing time for all relevant parties/candidates to be contacted.
We have been drawn away to National League side, Tamworth FC.

Ahead of all games involving Step 3 and 4 sides today, their will be a minutes silence for the passing of Chichester City’s Billy Vigar.
Billy sustained a significant brain injury last Saturday whilst playing in a match and sadly passed away on Thursday morning.

Interim manager Martin Coyne has added to the squad ahead with the signing of midfielder Jake Dunwoody.
The Glossop born midfielder came through the ranks at Stoke City spending time on loan at Curzon Ashton and Leek Town before moving to Northern Ireland to play for Derry City.
Jake has spent the past four years playing in the top flight in Finland making close to a 100 appearances for IFK Helsingfors, SJK Seinajoki and most recently AC Oula.
The 26 year old has now joined the Tigers and is pushing to be in the squad for Saturday’s FA Cup tie at home to Matlock Town
We have been drawn at home to Warrington Town in the Third Qualifying Round of the Isuzu FA Trophy.
The tie will take place on Saturday 4th October at 3pm.
