Reece For The Tigers

Michael Clegg has added to the ranks on deadline day by bringing in defender Reece Kendall.

The 26-Year-Old made his name at Matlock and Guiseley regularly scoring and assisting from full back.

He has also represented Bury FC over two spells and joins us after a period at Northern Counties East Side, Tadcaster Albion

This coming Tuesday 31st March, their will be an opportunity to formally meet Michael Clegg and ask him some questions.

This will take place in the Social Club from 7pm.

 

 

Non-League Day fixture v Stockton Town – Reduced Admission

This Saturday, 28th March, marks the annual ”Non-League Day”.

Non League Day encourages fans who have no watched Non-League before to come down and experience football at a lower level and support your local team while the Premier League and Championship teams are on an International Break.

For that reason we are offering reduced match price:-

Adults £6

Concessions £4

Under 16’s £3

Under 12’s £1 – Must be accompanied by a paying adult

Antoine leaves

We can confirm that winger Antoine Makoli has departed the club following the mutual cancellation of his contract. Antoine joined the Club from Wycombe Wanderers in August 2023 and made an immediate impact with his pacy, direct style.

He had made 83 appearances for the club across two spells and we wish him the best for the future.

Ditch extends his stay

We are delighted to announce that Harry Ditchfield has extended his contract until the end of next season.
Manager Michael Clegg said “It’s massive for the club and it’s massive for him with him being a local boy, anyone in the league would want him in their side and it was important that planning for the future we kept hold of him”
Ditch said “I’m buzzing, I’m very happy here as it’s my hometown club and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!”

Hyde United First Team Physio vacancy

There is a forthcoming vacancy for the position of First Team Physiotherapist from the beginning of April, as our current Physio moves to pastures new.
Those wishing to apply should note the following;-
Essential
  • Degree in Sport Rehabilitation/Sports Therapy/Physiotherapy
Desirable
  • ITMiFF or PHICIS level 2 medical qualification
  • Experience in Football/Sport

Duties

  • Report injuries and updates to the management staff
  • Provide rehabilitation and prevention plans
  • Player load and management

Working hours

  • Tuesday/Thursday evenings – 6pm to 9pm (Home matches 6-10)
  • Saturdays – 1pm to 5pm (Away matches differ with travel)

Scanlon departs

Jordan Scanlon has departed the Tigers to join Warrington Town.

Since joining from Atherton Collieries in July 2024, Jordan has made 82 appearances for the Tigers in all competitions scoring nine goals.

Manager Michael Clegg said ”With all the attacking players we have unfortunately at the moment their is no room for Jordan. In the short time I’ve been here I have really enjoyed working with him and his attitude is second to none and wish him all he best”
