In safe hands!

Hyde United are absolutely thrilled to announce the return of goalkeeper Jordan Eastham to the squad.

Jordan is no stranger to the Tigers, having first made a massive impact during a highly successful loan spell back in January 2024. During that run, he commanded the box across 20 appearances for Hyde, securing an impressive 8 clean sheets. Now, following a two-year stint with Ashton United, he is back on a permanent basis and ready to get between the sticks.

First-team Manager Michael Clegg emphasized the importance of the signing to the squad’s defensive foundation:

“A permanent keeper was a priority to bring stability to the team. We know Jordan, and we know exactly how good he is. With his previous experience here and his existing chemistry with the players, he’ll slot straight back in and get right to work.”

Welcome back to the Tigers, Jordan!

Shak Leaves

We can confirm that midfielder Shakeel Jones-Griffiths has left the club to join NPL West side Congleton Town.

Since joining in November 2023 he made 111 appearances for the Tigers and became a fans favourite.

Despite agreeing terms for the upcoming season Shak has now decided to leave and he goes with our best wishes.

We are hopeful of announcing some incomings in the next few days.
