Alex came through Bolton’s academy, and had a months loan spell at Sutton Coldfield during the 2017/18 season. He signed for Wigan Athletic for the 2018/19 season, after his contract expired at Bolton. He made 21 appearances for Wigan before being released and signing for EFL League Two side Scunthorpe United where he made 5 appearances.
