Another key member of Nick Spooner’s squad has signed a new deal at the club.

Joel Amado was a key figure at the heart of the defence last season after signing from Atherton Collieries last summer, now he’s a new contract to stay on for the 2024/25 season.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our 2024/25 Pre-Season preparations continue at home to a Blackburn Rovers Under 21 side.

The fixture will take place on Saturday 6th July with a 2pm kick off.

Harry Ditchfield is the next player to stay by extending his contract for another season.

Harry was voted fans player of the season last season and was an almost ever present and even chipped in with three goals.

He said ”I’m extremely pleased to have signed again for a further year and can’t wait to get started again.”

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our second pre-season fixture has been announced and it’s a short trip over the hill to Bower Fold to face Stalybridge Celtic on Saturday 27th July (Kick Off 3pm) and this will be played for the Keith Trudgeon Memorial trophy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our first pre-season friendly for the 2024/25 season has been announced and we will welcome FC Halifax Town to the Project Solar Stadium on Tuesday 9th July with a 7:45PM kick off.

Matty Fearnley has signed a contract for the upcoming season for the 2024/25 season.

Fearns was second top scorer last season, behind Jack Redshaw, with 14 goals despite playing in a number of positions, in his first full season at the club.

Hyde United FC can confirm the status of the playing squad in readiness for the 2024/25 season.

Jack Redshaw has agreed terms to stay until 2026, with the departure of Brad Roscoe and Callum Spooner, Jack has now been appointed club captain by manager Nick Spooner.
