Two Additions To The Squad

With the announcement of the start of the 2020/21 season, Dave and John had added to the already impressive squad.

The signing of a centre half and a forward adds to the spine of the squad and competition for places.

Forward Louis Myers signs from FC United and Centre Half Tom Morris signs from Congleton Town.

From The Manager

On Tom ;

“Tom has been with us  for a few weeks now and impressed from the very first session. He’s got a fantastic left foot and he will give us a balance in central defence. He’s a ball playing centre half, but he has the other side to his game which we need at this level. Tom has done well at Congelton and I have no doubt that he will make the step up.”

On Louis:

“I was aware of Louis last year after I had a conversation with Neil Reynolds early in the season. They had really high hopes for him but injuries early on set him back. It’s been apparent in training he has the ability. We know and he knows that he needs to work on his fitness. We will give him the environment to become the goalscorer that we have been looking for and the rest is up to Louis. I’m excited to get to work with Louis. If we can get it right then I think we have a player that can move on to bigger and better things after helping fire in the goals here.”
