Chris spent the start of his career in Wales, where he played for Rhyl, he signed for Bangor 2008. Then he signed for TNS in 2010 he was top scorer in his first season, which included scoring a Champions league goal against Anderlecht.

Chris signed for AFC Telford United 2011/12 season, before signing for Hereford United in 2013. He joined Stockport County in 2014, and was called-up to the England C team.

Then returned to Wales and signed for Colwyn Bay  at the start of the 2015/16 season. In the November of that season, he joined Salford City, but moved to Marine FC after a month.

He joined Bradford Park Avenue for the 2016/17 season and in 2017/18 he played for Alfreton Town. In the 2018/19 season he had spells for local neighbours Curzon Ashton  and then Stalybridge Celtic who he joined in September of that season, before moving to FC United in December of 2018/19.
