New Shirt Supplier Announced
As announced on Twitter earlier this week, our 4 year deal with kit supplier Mitre Sports came to an end.
So, the team have been hard at work this past fortnight, putting out tenders for new kit supplier proposals, in total we had around 8 proposals. It was then a case of going through each in detail applying the criteria we were looking for:
- Quality
- Pricing
- Stock Availability
- Delivery Time On Orders
- Benefits To The Football Club
We finally reached a supplier we were all agreed upon that achieved all these criteria.
We were also delighted that the new kit supplier is a local company, and we are all about supporting local businesses.
So, we are delighted to announce that our new kit supplier will be JFC Sports, who will be supplying the Hummel range of sports wear for our replica shirts and training wear. Hummel is a quality brand and amongst the teams that use Hummel as their kit are;
- The Danish National Team
- Everton FC
- Bristol City
- Middlesbrough FC
- Coventry City
- Charlton Athletic

Another added bonus for us with this deal, we will be having a third kit, something we haven’t had since the 2010 season. The deal also allows us to hold our pricing at £20 for youth replica shirts and £25 for adult replica shirts, by far the cheapest replica shirts that we can find in football, compared with pricing we have seen ranging from £30 up to as much as £45 in non-league football.
