Manager Darren Kelly Shows Loyalty To The Tigers

Earlier this week the football club was approached by FC United Of Manchester requesting permission for them to speak to manager Darren Kelly, with a view of offering him the managers role that they currently have vacant.

Purely out of respect to Darren, it was decided at Board level to allow FCUM to speak to him. After Darren had spoken to officials at FCUM yesterday, he kindly declined their offer.

Darren believes he has a job to finish here at Hyde United and his ambitions match those of the Football Club, to build a team that is successful both in the short and long term and can challenge for promotion and silverware.

The Board would like to thank Darren for his loyalty and honesty and we look forward to continuing our successful relationship with both Darren & Dave..
