Hyde United Community Fund Raising Match – Sunday 8th August

Our former Club captain from the halcyon days of the early 80s, Tony Steenson, has kindly arranged for a Celebrity Charity match at the Ewen Fields Stadium on Sunday 8th August with a 2pm kick off.

All proceeds will be jointly in aid of our Hyde United Community Fund (which supports our community projects across all age ranges) and donations to our Charity partners, Willow Wood Hospice.

The teams will comprise of well-known celebrities from Coronation St, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks, local DJ personality, Mike Sweeney, ex-professional players such as Denis Irwin and the Tigers legendary winger, George Oghani (more names to be confirmed in the next few days).

All admission will be via donations on the day and there will be a fundraising raffle for travel vouchers donated by Jet2 holidays.

Full Social Club & Teabar facilities will be open, so please try and come along to support two very worthy causes in both the Community Fund & Willow Wood.” .
