Experienced Striker Signs For The Tigers

With leading goal scorer, Chib Chilaka, serving a three game suspension for the red card he picked up against Matlock, manager Darren Kelly has had to quickly find cover for the upcoming away fixture to Mickleover Sports this Saturday.

So today we are pleased to annouce the signing of experienced striker Deane Smalley who has played most of his games in the football league.

Deane started his career with Oldham Athletic and had loan spells at Rochdale and Chesterfield before signing for Oxford United. From Oxford United he joined Plymouth Argyle and most recently Chester.

Having scored goals at a higher level its hoped he can add to his tally with the Tigers and provide excellent cover for Chib.

Deane won’t be a stranger to one of our current squad as his brother is current Chester loan player, Dominic Smalley.
