Hyde United were comfortable winners over bottom side Bradford Park Avenue by 5 goals to nil to stay in the play off places and make it 11 unbeaten in all competitions.
Hyde took the lead just two minutes later. Jack Redshaw laid off a pass for the run of Lewis Alessandra and his side footed effort from the edge of the box beat Tom Scott, his fingertip save not enough to prevent the ball finding the back of the net.
The home side doubled their lead on 12 minutes through Callum Spooner. He intercepted in the Bradford half, linked up well with Alessandra, got the ball back in the box, and expertly placed a chipped effort over Scott.
Any chance of a fight back for the visitors was squashed on 48 minutes as Josh Doherty added a third. He stepped to a free kick from 22 yards and found the top corner with an incredible strike giving Scott no chance.
Alessandra scored his second of the match, and Hydes fourth, on 59 minutes, as he volleyed home a rebound which fell kindly for him after Jack Redshaw had a shot blocked off the line.
Alessandra had his hatrick with the final goal of the game on 78 minutes as the Bradford defence didn’t deal with a long distance free kick from Hyde keeper Eastham and Alessandra gladly slotted home in the box. i
