Hyde United extended their unbeaten run to four games in the Northern Premier League on Tuesday evening after beating Belper Town 2-0 at the Project Solar Stadium.

Jack Redshaw netted twice in the second half to secure the Tigers all three points. The 31-year-old opened the scoring with 18 minutes remaining.
Hyde countered well through Callum Spooner, whose pass found Adam Dawson down the right and the midfielder made no mistake when slotting the ball through to Redshaw, who placed the ball to Ross Durrant’s goal.

The dynamic duo linked up again for the Tigers’ second goal of the game. Belper had every player forward for a last-minute corner, but Hyde dealt with it well and countered through substitute Harry Pratt. The forward looped the ball to Dawson, who found Redshaw and he put the ball into an open goal.

Nick Spooner’s side will be hoping to continue their unbeaten run when they travel to Craik Park to face Morpeth Town on Saturday afternoon, kick-off is 3pm.

The Tigers sit fourth in the table after their opening four games with eight points, while Saturday’s opposition are 10th.
