Nick Spooner’s preparations ahead of the opening game of the season continue with the signing of Giosue Bellagambi.  Gio has played in some of our pre-season games and now joins us on a three month loan from Championship side Huddersfield Town.

The 19-Year-Old joined Huddersfield Town as a scholar ahead of the
2018/19 season and recently signed a new contract until 2024 and has also been on the bench for some first team games.

Gio received his first senior call-up for Uganda’s national team in May for a provisional 33-man squad for Uganda’s AFCON 2023 qualifiers.

Gio will be in the squad to face Radcliffe on Saturday at the Project Solar Stadium with a 3pm Kick Off
