Former Manager Passes Away

The Football Club are sorry to hear the news that former Hyde United Manager, George Smith, has recently passed away.

George managed the Tigers in the 1974-75 season before moving to coach in Saudi Arabia with his most famous signing for Hyde probably being Eamonn O’Keefe, who went on to play professionally at Everton, Wigan, Blackpool & Port Vale.
