Home of the Tigers

Tuesday 20th results leave it tight at the top

Hyde remained top following last nights results, but you could throw a handkerchief over the top 5

South Shields failed to take their chance to replace The Tigers at the top, going down 3-2 at Bamber Bridge who narrowed the gap on the teams above them.

Scarborough Athletic looked professional and determined to turn around their recent poor home form with a 3-1 away win at Mossley and can now move within a point of top if they win their game in hand.

Prescot Cables scored two injury time goals to see off Tadcaster, Hydes opponents on Saturday, 2-1

Other results had play off chasing Trafford drawing and Colwyn Bay loosing.

Colne & Clitheroe moved up towards the play off places.

With South Shields not playing their two games in hand until the early part of April, due to integer league cup fixtures, The Tigers can cement their position at the top with a run of good results over the coming weeks against:

Tadcaster Albion (A) 24th March
Bamber Bridge (A) 27th March
Trafford (A) 31st March
Droylsden (H) 2nd April
